Precious metals have long been symbols of prestige and exclusivity and there is no better way to communicate premium quality or technical sophistication and product security than by adding a metallic finish to your packaging.
At Foilmasters, we’re the alchemists of packaging. The metallic foils we use are a complex mix of polyester, metallised aluminium or pigment and sizing. Heat is applied to the polyester side of the foil and stamped onto the stock using a magnesium, copper or brass die. As the heat softens the sizing, we apply pressure causing the metallised or pigment layer to release and adhere.
